The Saint Barth Film Festival “Cinéma Caraïbes” is back after a two-year absence due to the Covid pandemic. On May 4-7, 2022, the festival will celebrate its 25th anniversary, which did not take place as planned in 2020, or again in 2021.
Four feature-length films are on the program for the 25th St Barth Film Festival, including two documentaries. The first two films will be shown on May 4 and 5 at AJOE in Lorient, while the films on May 6 and 7 will be shown on the dock in Gustavia, pending approval from the Collectivity.

À l'âge de quinze ans, Charlotta Huldt a débuté sa carrière au Théâtre national suédois d'Helsingborg en tant que chanteuse, comédienne et danseuse, aux côtés de Nils Poppe, l'un des comédiens les plus célèbres de Suède au XXe siècle. Elle s'est ensuite installée à Copenhague, au Danemark, pour étudier le chant à l'Académie royale de musique. Peu après avoir obtenu son diplôme, elle s'installe à Londres pour étudier avec le professeur Vera Rozsa. Au bout de quelques années, elle retourne en Suède pour poursuivre ses études à l'École nationale d'opéra de Stockholm.
Au fil des ans, elle remporte plusieurs concours de chant prestigieux et obtient des bourses, notamment à l'Académie de Vadstena, au concours de la Société wagnérienne suédoise et au concours Jenny Lind. Elle a poursuivi et développé sa carrière de chanteuse, créant plusieurs rôles qui ont été salués par la critique. – « La voix de soprano puissante et lumineuse de Mme Huldt s’est démarquée avec force ! » Opera
Immédiatement après avoir terminé ses études à l’École nationale d’opéra, elle a fondé une compagnie d’opéra, « The SpaghettiOpera », à Stockholm en 1997, en collaboration avec Hans Ramberg. Elle a également occupé le poste de directrice artistique de l’Ystadopera. Elle a perfectionné ses compétences en mise en scène en dirigeant plus de 40 productions d’opéra différentes, en traduisant 20 livrets en suédois, et en travaillant comme scénographe, chorégraphe et assistante à la mise en scène à l’Opéra royal de Stockholm.
En 2012, elle a fondé l’Opéra de Strömstad et, en 2016, elle a produit et mis en scène le projet d’opéra communautaire « Bollywood Opera », qui a été filmé et diffusé par la SVT. Ce documentaire a été sélectionné au Festival du film Golden Prague 2017. Membre de la Guilde des scénaristes de Suède, cofondateur du prix cinématographique ANNA.
At the age of fifteen, Charlotta Huldt started her career at the Swedish National Theatre in Helsingborg as a singer, actress, and dancer working for Nils Poppe, one of Sweden's most famous comic actors of the 20th century. She then moved on to Copenhagen, Denmark to study singing at the Royal Academy of Music. Shortly after graduation she moved to London to study with Professor Vera Rozsa. After a couple of years she moved back to Sweden for further studies at the National Operaschool in Stockholm.
Over the years she won some prestigious singing competitions and scholarships; i.e. the Vadstena Academy, the Swedish Wagnerian society competition, the Jenny Lind-competition. She has maintained and developed her singing career, creating several roles with great critical acclaim.:

Immediately after finishing the National Opera school she started an Opera company, “The SpaghettiOpera” in Stockholm in 1997 together with Hans Ramberg. She has also served as the artistic director of the Ystadopera. She has developed her directing skills by directing more than 40 different opera productions, translating 20 librettos into Swedish, worked as a set-designer, choreographer, and also as an assistant director at the Royal Opera House in Stockholm.
In 2012 she founded the Strömstad Opera and in 2016 she produced and directed the community opera-project – The Bollywood Opera, which was filmed as a documentary and broadcast by the SVT. The Documentary was nominated at the film festival of Golden Prague Festival 2017 Member of the Writers Guild of Sweden, Co-founder of the ANNA film prize.
